NYS Public Service Commission - Ecogen Testimony

John Calaway before the NYS Public Service Commission demonstrates the cozy relationship that the PSC takes with developers. The public interest is never brought up! Ecogen Italy and Prattsburgh project is a total failure.

Residents do not want an industrial factory in their neighborhood. Nevertheless, Calaway wants NYS to impose siting approvals upon local boards. That is a departure of the old Article X.

The cost of your electric bill is going up BECAUSE of these unscrupulous developers.

John Callaway has always been a bumbling fool. He was quoted in Business Week a couple years ago saying how most of the industry revenues come from sources other than selling electricity at competitive auction rates.

Here in western Ohio we were lucky enough to have B&B fold up their tents. They said it was money troubles and bats, but we suspect it was us. We gave 'em hell from the get-go.

If your state hasn't taken control of siting wind yet, fight to prevent it. Once the state takes over, as John points out, it will be much easier for wind companies to build.
